Job Summary
On the look-out for an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager capable of leading mid-to-large size warehouses operated by large crews. The ideal individual should count with deep expertise on inventory control, delivery schedules, supervisory direction for warehouse personnel, product quality monitoring, tracking documentation and client relations.
Responsibilities
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Oversees and manages stock levels, delivery times and transportation costs both domestic and international.
Monitors quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of product.
Serves as the main point of contact for all domestic and international freight forwarders, package delivery companies, and supply chain providers.
Provides supervisory direction for the warehouse personnel and manages all aspects of personnel performance, staffing, training, and discipline within the department.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by following security and safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements
7+ years of experience working in mid-large warehouses with at least 3+ of those years in supervisory roles.
Experienced in writing and implementing Logistics/Warehousing/Shipping standard operating procedures.
Experience with both inbound and outbound international shipments.
Ability to participate as a team-member as well as a leader in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
ECommerce industry experience a PLUS.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Bilingual in Mandarin.
